Many Native people say the land remembers. We invite non-Native people to think about the places on this continent that they know and love, and then ask: What does this land remember? Who loved this land before my family came to know it? What happened to them? How am I connected to them through the land? How could this connection grow into relationship?

"WHAT'S NEXT?"

On the Sunday after the election, we may still not know what the results of that election will be.  We also don’t know how long this pandemic will last, and our church community will be largely virtual.  But what we do know is, win or lose, those efforts we’ve been fighting for will still need us to continue in the fight.  We know we’ll still be in a time of pandemic, the earth will still be experiencing climate change, people in prisons will still be there.  So at this turning point, what’s next – for our country, for our faith, and for FPC?

 I'll be hosting a short vespers service on Zoom from 6-6:45. This will be a more formally-structured event than the noon event, but still a time for people to share how they're feeling.  This one we'll hold even if results are both certain and happy and people are joyous -- if so, it'll be a time to celebrate together.  We’ll be done by 6:45 to allow people to attend the UU Journey class at 7pm.
