FPC will present a solstice celebration on Sunday, December 15. Music Director Chris Hossfeld conducts the FPC Choir with accompanist Trevor Berens, soprano Jessica Tunick Berens, and cellist Gary Hodges. All are welcome.
The event will be a multi-faith service with seasonal music, and will include a choral piece titled "Luminous Night of the Soul" by Ola Gjeilo, whose compositional style is often described as cinematic and evocative, with a lush, harmonious sound.
The service begins at 5 p.m. and will be held at First Parish Church of Stow & Acton, 353 Great Rd, Stow MA 01775. Admission is free, and masks are optional.
