On March 8, Jon Mills moved from his North Carolina home to Poland to help Ukrainians displaced by the war in any way he could. He’ll tell us about his experience at the next virtual Saturday Morning Breakfast, hosted by First Parish Church of Stow & Acton (FPC), on Saturday, April 16, at 8:05 a.m.

At first he wasn’t sure what he could do, but he decided he’d figure it out when he got there. At this point, Mills says, “I’ve done anything from going to border crossings and bringing refugees back to Warsaw, to picking up dozens of bags of aid packages at the airport, to helping refugees at Warsaw Central Train Station.” At one point, he even bought bubbles, bringing smiles to the children and some relief to their weary moms.
