Wake up and smell the flowers at our Spring Auction Garden Party.  This event will include an on-line silent auction (starting at midnight on June 8 and ending on June 22nd), and a live event on June 18th with both silent auction and live auction opportunities.  We will gather outside to socialize and enjoy the flowers around our lovely campus and to partake in light snacks, wine, beer, and soft drinks.  Then we will head inside to get down to the business of bidding!  The auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and a wonderful time to buy that item you just can’t live without, support the church and join in fellowship with our community.  Bid early and often to make sure you get that special item!

Items are starting to sprout, including many favorites like group dinners, business gift cards, FPC member artworks, services baked goods and jewelry.  What can you donate?  You are limited only by your imagination!

New this year, we have two, count them, two! contests for our live auction attendees.  Will you win for best garden party hat?  Or perhaps for best flower arrangement?  Flower Arrangements will be judged on: color, variety of flowers, 360 degree view (does it look good from all sides/angles), and overall presentation or “wow factor.”  Hats will be judged on: creativity, elegance, whimsy, and use of materials.  We will award first, second, and third place ribbons.  Put your creative talents to work and maybe our expert judges will crown you the winner!

And both the on-line and in-person events will feature a raffle for a special gift basket.

We know you’ll want to be a part of this event, and here are some ways you can help!

• Donate!  Donate!  Donate!  Can you offer four hours of gardening, a group dinner, a piece of jewelry, home baked goods, knitting lessons?  The only limitation is your imagination.  To donate, fill out the donation form found below. 
• Donate a business gift card from your favorite business.  At the Signup Genius link below, you will find an opportunity to sign up to buy gift cards from businesses that have supported us in the past, or add a business that you would like to patronize.  Gift cards are popular, affordable and bring in lots of money to the church.
• Volunteer to help prior to the event (decorations, collect business donations, etc.) or on the day of the live auction (setup, cleanup, bid spotters, bid recorders, help with food service and more). (There will be no food donations this year.). Please go to Signup Genius to volunteer.  We need everyone!

Where:  The on-line auction is hosted by Auctria. The catalog will available June 6th.  Please pre-register via the Auctria link.
