An opportunity to learn more about the challenges that immigrants are confronting in our towns and neighborhoods.
Speakers include:
Diego Low, Coordinator of the Workers Center, serving Framingham, Milford, and Marlborough; Ann Feldman, Teacher Trainer and ELL Chair for the Milford School District; Joana dos Santos, Executive Director of the Cleghorn Neighborhood Center in Fitchburg; and Rafael Faria, a police officer and resident of Marlborough who, with his wife Carol Furnari, started The Bridge, a program that builds connections between Brazilians and other Marlborough residents.
The Rev. Tom Rosiello, will moderate.
This event is open to the public.
Refreshments will be provided: warm soups, bread, cold drinks, and sweets. Childcare will also be available. Contact Margot Welch by March 1 to let us know if you will need it.
