Our Annual Plant Sale will take place in front of the carriage shed on May 20th. The sale takes place rain or shine.

DONATIONS: We ask FPC gardeners and lovers of the earth for plants—lots of plants! Please look around your property for plants to donate to the sale. Plants that are different or unusual are especially desirable, the kinds of plants that if they weren’t already in your yard or garden, you yourself would like to buy. Time to sign up for Small Group Ministry for 2023!

We are forming new groups of 8-10 people who will meet monthly, starting in February, with a trained facilitator to discuss a session topic. The topics are chosen to provide an opportunity for Intimacy and Ultimacy - increasing awareness of yourself and connections to other group members. We encourage existing participants to join again, either in the same or in a new group, and particularly welcome those new to the program or new to the church. Our Peace Vigil that takes place each Thursday night along Stow Common was started 20 years ago, on Nov. 26, 2002, by FPC member Neil Saunders, in response to the imminent Gulf War. “It was a cold November night,” Saunders recalls, “and we huddled together holding candles and a few homemade signs. It was our way of sending out a clear message that instead of sending American troops to fight a deadly war in Iraq, we believed every effort should be made to resolve the dispute peacefully through negotiation and diplomacy.”
