FPC Guest Table, Community Dinner

FPC Guest Table serves a community dinner on the first Friday of each month at First Parish Church of Stow & Acton. We welcome everyone from Stow, and its surrounding towns, who are looking for a sense of community, or just want a change of atmosphere.

Our next meal will be offered Friday, February 3rd, from 5:30-6:30 PM. There is no charge for dinner, but donations are gratefully accepted. Dinners will be nut free, with gluten-free and dairy-free options available. Dinner is held in our Fellowship Hall, doors open at 5 PM. Our facilities are wheelchair accessible. ... Read more

Power of Choice: Building Emotional Resiliency in our Youth

Thursday, January 26th, 2017 - 7:00PM

First Parish Church of Stow and Acton is honored to present a powerful presentation in support of youth and their parents. This event is open to all youth, their parents, educators and others concerned about our youth from FPC and surrounding towns. The workshop will be presented by Judy Giovangelo, who brings a message of hope, positive psychology, and tools to reduce stress and grow emotional resiliency in homes, schools, and the community. A Transylvanian Christmas - Vespers Service

Sunday, December 11th, 2016 - 5:00PM

On last year's trip to your partner church in Transylvanina, Romania, Mike Pfitzer, our music director, discovered a wonderful Christmas Cantata which will be the featured piece in this service. This very special Candlelight Vesper service will include a beautiful string orchestra prelude and The First Parish Adult Choir with guest soloists accompanied by a string orchestra and organ. Danielle Miraglia comes armed with a strong steady thumb on an old Gibson, an infectious stomp-box rhythm, harmonica and tunes ranging from heart-felt to socially conscious that will move both your heart and hips.

FPC's 147th HARVEST FAIR

Saturday, October 1st, 2016 - 9:30AM to 3:00PM

Come to the 147th annual FPC Harvest Fair, Saturday, October 1 from 9:30am–3pm. We are located at 353 Great Rd on the Common in Stow (at the intersection of Routes 117 and 62). Admission is free. There is free parking and the event will be held rain or shine.

Featured will be all types of homemade baked goods and preserves as well as some handcrafted items. A lunch including burgers, hot dogs, sides and snacks will be served and our famous apple pies will be available.
