FPC's 147th HARVEST FAIR

 It is time to celebrate fall with our annual Harvest Fair.  This great community event has been happening for 147 years and it is success and its continuation is all because of you.

VOLUNTEER  Opportunities for the day of the Fair. 

Many hands are needed to set up and staff the Fair.  

Sign-up for as many shifts as possible here or at the Fair Table at coffee hour. 

DONATION Opportunities

Baked Goods Table:  Home-made pies, jams, pickles, breads, coffee cakes, cookies, and much, much more.

We needone donation of a delicious item from everyone. Please label your item and specify dietary information such as “contains nuts” or “gluten-free.”

Drop-off: Friday night or early Saturday morning.

Books, CDs and DVD Table: All types of books!  Big sellers are mysteries, best selling novels and cookbooks.  DVDs of award winning, and family movies are popular. 

We needbook, DVD and CD  donations. No encyclopedia sets, magazines or textbooks, please.

Drop-off: In Fellowship Hall beginning Monday, September 26.   Please do not leave in /outside the Shed.

Craft Table:  Beautiful handmade items.

We need… 

- Notecards - Photographs, small watercolors, entangle drawings, stamps. You can package them for individual sale or in small lots (4-5).
- Small knit items - scarves, hats, mittens.
- Cloth wine bags (many patterns on the internet)
- Fall/Hallowe’en themed items (napkins, centerpieces, candles, art, etc.)
Do you entangle? Try it on a mini-pumpkin. Super cute and very popular!
- Painted rocks, such as those produced in the workshop Cece Braun led at Ferry Beach
- Clothing/Accessories for American Girl or Barbie dolls
- Small wooden toys 

Drop-off: At the Fair Table at coffee hour during September, or on Friday evening.

Jewelry Table: Classic earrings, pins, necklaces and more. 

We need… earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pins or other items of adornment you no longer wear.  Pieces that need minor repair are acceptable. Broken items and children's jewelry will also be put to good use.

Drop-off: At the Fair Table at coffee hour during September, or on Friday evening

Toys and Games Table: Gently used toys, games and puzzles

We need…. Toys and games with all pieces.  No stuffed animals or sports equipment.

Drop-off: In Fellowship Hall on or after Monday, September 26. 

Lunch: Hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers and loads of side dishes.  Plan to eat lunch at the Fair! 

We needMany yummy side dishes that serve 10-12 such as salads (pasta, vegetable, leafy greens, potato, coleslaw.) vegetable casseroles, or baked beans (vegetarian and with meat).

Sign-up online or at the Fair table at Coffee Hour. 

Children’s Games: Children’s Games at the Fair are a great way for children to have fun while the adults browse and spend money. 

We need… small, no-longer-wanted “treasures” for prizes.

Drop off:  At the Fair table at coffee hour. 

This is a family event for FPC and the larger community. Bring your children, parents, neighbors and friends.  Enjoy the day, shop, eat lunch, and feel good about being part of our FPC fundraiser!
